I have chosen to feature the 10×10 straight leg canopy for good reason and recommend it rather than the slanted leg version. Although the alternative version would save you a bit of money they are less stable. And don’t provide as much shade, which after all is the reason for buying it in the first place.
You will also notice that my top five selection are all metal rather than the lighter aluminum framed type. I have owned an aluminum one before but was not too happy with it due to bending in the wind.
Certainly they are a lot lighter but for myself I prefer the strength that steel provides. Plus have the peace of mind that things around me are not about to fall apart.
