Apart from having an attractive look, a small oak side table with storage will save on floor space and sure to be much appreciated by those with a smaller home. Using the table next to a chair for example to hold beverages, papers and magazines will avoid the need for coffee tables and the like.
When space is at a premium, it becomes quite an art to be able to furnish the home adequately. Even more so, if it is a family home. Every member will have to do their bit in their space saving efforts which is not easy especially if there are children included.
That extra little drawer or shelf can make such a big difference. Thankfully, furniture manufacturers as well as others, have addressed many of these problems by including range sizes of goods to suit most situations.
