With an extended reach hedge trimmer you will be able to make short work of those taller hard to reach areas of overgrowth. Ovoid the use of ladders and the accidents that historically go with using them.
The choices in my top five selection include mains electric models and battery models which are becoming more popular every day. They will allow you to work anywhere in the garden completely free from having to work close to a mains outlet. A whole lot safer as well with no cord to cut through.
Some folk feel that using this type of hedge cutter can be tiring. So I would recommend using a harness which will take most of the weight of your arms. Makes life just that bit easier.
