Following a phone call from my Sis my next challenge was to find a suitable front seat dog guard. Having this will allow her to take her young Prince Charles pup called Freckles with her when out in the car. Not surprisingly, Freckles when placed in the back seat has only one thing on his mind and that’s to be in the front instead. And that’s an accident waiting to happen, which we don’t want.
Obviously puppies grow up and will be something she needs to take into consideration when choosing her barrier. The mesh versions certainly cost less than the steel tubing although not as robust. Both types however allow the pet to have visual contact with the owner which helps them to avoid being stressed during the journey.
So I have made up a short list of 5 for her or anyone reading this post which I think are the ones that will do the job the best. One point I need to point out is that the first two on my list will require your car to have vertically adjustable head rests. These adjustable rest stems are utilized when fixing the guards into place.
