Having a quadcopter with camera and GPS (global positioning system) will give more control of the navigation. It allows the pilot to plan autopilot flights, maintain a fixed area and height plus return home.
This system is accurate to a couple of yards although the more advanced global positioning system can be as accurate as a couple of inches.
All this amounts to the safe return of the vehicle which has become essential with these higher priced versions. The less expensive models rely on visual tracking which keeps costs down making them suitable as starter models.
The same applies for the onboard cameras. The more expensive models can do so much more and in a higher definition.
In my list of suggestions below they range in price from less to most expensive. Take a look.
