I’m a great believer in keeping the youngsters well toped up with fresh reading material and these days I find myself purchasing a fair share of space travel books for kids. I have been noticing that just about every day that passes, I’m sure to get a question from some of the youngsters asking about space topics.
I don’t know why, but for some reason they look at me as if I should know all their answers. Could be because I was able to answer some of the simpler questions they were asking.
Questions about our sun, the moon and the planets in our solar system. Nowadays some of the older kids are wanting to know answers about areas of the Milky Way. Probably due to the fact that NASA have been providing us with deep space images captured by their super powerful telescopes and frequently making the news.
My choice of five books are shown below. They are in order to suit children aged 3 and over, right up to 10 and older.
