The white drop in kitchen sink has held onto its popularity probably for two reasons. The first one is the obvious clean color. I know many people who (rightly or wrongly) would never consider anything else. Tradition can be a strong decider on how we decorate our homes, often unconsciously.
The second reason is how simple it is to install it in your countertop. Cut out the pattern provided by a template supplied in the kit, add some sealer and presto, job done. If you do decide to replace it later on, this you will find it an easy task. More often than not the new one will just slip into place. Or at the most you may have to remove a small portion from the inside edge of the countertop.
