I suppose the number one benefit of owning a cold brew coffee press is the versatility that they offer. It serves us well when sitting enjoying a warm summer mornings breakfast with an iced coffee, or when enjoying a hot coffee with a hot breakfast.
Many people are becoming obsessed with cold coffee in recent times but having the option to quickly boil up a hot one from the same equipment saves valuable kitchen space.
Some models come complete with funnel that fold down inside, again a space saver. What I have been noticing with friends etc. is that once introduced to these types of brewers they seem to stick with them.
