A great advantage of using glass storage jars with lids is the fact everything inside is immediately visible. You can tell exactly what’s in them and how much. The lid of course will ensure nothing spills out although for canning and food storing this needs to be airtight to avoid harmful bacteria’s accumulating.
Apart from canning other uses such as making and adding your own recipe of baby food portions. Readymade meals so to speak but full of the nutrition you have chosen to create. I also use them to store dry pulses in the kitchen cupboards and when cooked in the fridge.
